Background

Cold Busted was started in 2008 with our first release in July. With our artwork inspired from the 60’s and 70’s we are trying to capture the sound of today with the looks from the past. Owned and operated by Dj Vitamin D he wanted to provide an additional outlet for both known and unknown artists. Expect more Trip Hop, Instrumental Hip Hop, and funky sounds for the years to come.

Promos

Promos from us directly are only offered to artists signed with us. You may also obtain promos through 8DPromo and StrikeForce.

CD Distribution

Our entire catalog is available on CD here. Priced at $6.99 each many stores worldwide order direct and resell. All orders are paid using PayPay or Credit Card. We do not offer consignment. There are no minimums.

Digital Distribution

All releases are distributed through Some Cutz Up Aggregation. If you are a store or online shop that would like to carry our catalog, please contact them directly.

Background Music

Designer Muzik is NO longer licensed to provide our catalog as background music to the Australian and Pacific regions. They have not paid us in over 1 year and an no longer returning emails.

Muzak is licensed to provide our catalog as background music for the USA.

Creative Retail Communications is licensed to provide our catalog as background music in Russia.

Authorized Retailers

Beatport receives our releases first for an 8 week exclusive period. After that time you can purchase our releases at iTunes, Juno Download, Traxsource, and Amazon. All other retailers are no longer authorized to sell our catalog.

YouTube & General Usage of Our Catalog Policy

If you would like to post our content on YouTube you may do so as long as the quality is not HD. Any HD content found with our recordings will be flagged. Remember, you are using our content and we should not have to ask you to remove it. We have zero tolerance for posting high quality links of our catalog. Also, make sure you link to the release on Beatport or use our label link here:

If you have special circumstances just ask us via email and email ONLY. We are not interested in any of our tracks with added lyrics. If you post these types of remixes/re-edits/re-works they will be removed. Don’t blame us when your content is removed and your account is terminated. All you had to do was ask us first. Emails requesting to reinstate your account on YouTube will be ignored. REPEAT:
