Sometime during the year 1992, Krystian discovered his passion for electronic music, after having taken piano lessons for more than 10 years. Inspired by old Vangelis and Jean Michel Jarre records he found himself listening to what was at the time referred to as techno music. He quickly decided that he, too, wanted to do “something like that”. Not knowing how such music was produced, and having no idea what kind of appliance generated such synthetic beats, several years passed before Krystian coincidentally made a discovery that led him into the right direction. A friend of his owned an Amiga 500 Computer with a multi track recorder, which was capable of loading samples. Since Krystian, too, had such a computer, he borrowed the program and since then left his Amiga 500 hardly at all. Unfortunately, the programs limits were soon reached, and he didn’t know how to continue. Later on, approximately at the end of 1994, he did finally find out how to produce music in a really professional way. After a time of trying and experimenting, Krystian made his first recordings, without offering them to anyone, however, not being happy with the outcome for the time being. At the end of 1997 the time had finally come: He put together three tracks of which he was sure, that they were excellently suitable for dancing.
Today Krystian is well-known for his Leftfield/Trip-Hop/Electronica releases on the superb -FAX Label- owned by Pete Namlook and of course he is very proud to be a member of the Cold Busted family.
