mister T. from Athens, Greece debuts his first full length album ‘Gentle Music’ on Cold Busted, a Funk, Instrumental and Downtempo musical soiree of soulful and fresh sounds. ‘Everything Is Wah’ kicks it off with seriously funky guitar and bass, bright horns wah-ing in crescendos, the beat at about 100BPM. ‘Rastas Funky Well’ is another funky tune with old school Rasta samples, a jazzy flute, talkative guitar, gentle organ keys, staccato horns and groovy beat. ‘Lazy Sound’ is smooth and chilled with a relaxed low bassline, bright soulful organ and undulating synths riding suavely on steady drum patterns. ‘Back to Bristol’ is a mesmerizing tune with glossy reverberating synths, and intoxicating female vocals, keen sampling, scratches and addicting beats. Ending the album is ‘Living Room’ a spicy downtempo song with poignant kick drums breaking the beat a grooving low bass, and velvety melody, super chilled out and fun. New school Funk with the heart of Hip Hop in Electronic bliss, ‘Gentle Music’ is a colorful collage, diverse and distinctive appealing to break-dancers and to all.
